An Important Step Toward Training Qualified Human Resources: Collaboration Between Muş Alparslan University and Mikro Yazılım

The Department of Business Administration within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Muş Alparslan University has taken another significant step toward educating the qualified human resources needed by the business world. Within the scope of a cooperation protocol signed with Mikro Yazılım, one of Türkiye’s leading commercial software developers, Business Administration students will have the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice using the most widely preferred software in the industry.

From Theory to Practice: Accounting Courses Become Application-Oriented

A comprehensive digital transformation is targeted within the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Department of Business Administration. At the core of this collaboration lies the goal of ensuring that students graduate as well-prepared and professionally competent individuals.

Under the agreement, Mikro Yazılım software will be actively used in courses such as Computerized Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Cost Accounting included in the Business Administration curriculum. Mikro Yazılım will provide the necessary software installations in the university’s computer laboratories and offer technical support. In this way, students will gain hands-on experience by directly applying accounting principles through professional software platforms.

“Training of Trainers” Support for Academics

The protocol embraces a broad vision that covers not only students but also the academic staff. On dates to be determined jointly by Mikro Yazılım and the university administration, “Training of Trainers” programs will be organized to enable faculty members to use the relevant software effectively and transfer this expertise to students.

Expressing his satisfaction with the implementation of the protocol, Head of the Department of Business Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Türkmenoğlu, stated that this collaboration represents a significant milestone in students’ career journeys. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Türkmenoğlu also thanked the faculty and university administration for their contributions in providing this opportunity, which will equip students with the digital competencies demanded by the sector.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Altunç, expressed his gratitude to Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican for his support of a vision that strengthens relationships with external stakeholders and prioritizes student development. It was emphasized that these steps, taken under the leadership of Rector Alican, reinforce the university’s “Industry on Campus” vision and enhance graduates’ employability.

This partnership, through which both institutions will share their experience in scientific activities, research, and in-service training, is expected to provide significant advantages for students.
