Within the scope of an event organized under the leadership of the Business Society, important insights were shared regarding ethical issues encountered in academic promotion processes and ways to prevent such problems.
Invited as the guest speaker, Prof. Dr. Fahri Apaydın delivered a presentation titled “Red Lines in Associate Professorship Applications: Ethical Violations and Ways to Prevent Them,” in which he comprehensively addressed the types of academic ethical violations, their consequences, and preventive practices.
Prof. Dr. Apaydın, who is the Founder and Vice President of the Association for Ethics in Academia, also shared his extensive professional experience gained through his academic roles at Yalova University. He particularly emphasized the critical issues that should be carefully considered during associate professorship application processes.
