A Minor Program Protocol Signed Between the Department of Business Administration and the Department of Political Science and Public Administration

Our faculty has taken a significant step to support students' academic development. A minor protocol was signed between the Department of Political Science and Public Administration and the Department of Business Administration, which undergraduate students can benefit from. This protocol aims to provide students with a multidisciplinary academic perspective and help them reach their career goals with a broader outlook.

In his speech at the signing ceremony, Associate Dean Dr. Abdülmecit Yıldırım emphasized that this collaboration would contribute to students being more strongly positioned in the job market after graduation. Yıldırım stated, "This minor program aims to equip students with the necessary skills to succeed in both the public and private sectors."

Dr. Vedat Almalı, Vice Chair of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, noted that this protocol would allow department students to develop a deeper understanding of business and entrepreneurship processes. Associate Professor Mehmet Ali Türkmenoğlu, Head of the Department of Business Administration, also expressed that business students could enhance their knowledge of public administration, enabling them to make a difference in public policy and management processes.

Through this protocol, students will gain in-depth knowledge in their own fields while also acquiring the perspective of another discipline, providing them with a significant advantage in their careers. With the minor program, students will take courses in a second discipline and graduate with a more comprehensive educational certificate.

The conditions and details for minor program applications will be announced on our faculty’s official website in the coming days.
